CROCHET GAUGE:
18 double crochets in width and 10.5 rows in height = 10 x 10 cm = 4” x 4”.

CROCHET HOOK:
DROPS CROCHET HOOK SIZE 3.5 MM = US 4.
Hook size is only a guide. If you get too many stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a larger hook size. If you get too few stitches on 10 cm = 4”, change to a smaller hook size.

The first double crochet on the round is replaced by 3 chain stitches; finish the round with 1 slip stitch in the 3rd chain stitch.
When changing color work the final slip stitch on the round as follows: Insert the hook in the 3rd chain stitch from the beginning of the round, change to the next color and pull the strand through the loop on the hook.
