skeins 1012 Black B
Susan Bates® Crochet Hook:
6 mm [US J-10]
Crochet Hook 5 mm (US J-10)
Yarn needle
GAUGE: 10 dc and 6 dc
rows = 4″ (10 cm). CHECK
YOUR GAUGE. Use any size
needles/hook to obtain the
gauge.

Three different stitch patterns come together to complete this artisan throw that’s inspired by ancient African mud cloth designs. Although this crochet afghan is not woven like traditional mud cloth fabrics, we can definitely enjoy and create gorgeous patterns with our crochet hook and Red Heart With Love yarn. It’s an out-of-the-ordinary project, so let’s begin.
