• 4.0 mm hook
• Worsted weight yarn in white, lilac, pink, aqua, yellow, black.
• Yarn needle
• Scissors

Eyes (make 2)

Working in joined rounds with black.
R1. 6 sc in MR (6)
Change to white. Secure black, leave long black tail for sewing.
With white, slst to first st and ch 2 (does not count as st).

FO with invisible finish, weave tail.

Working in continuous rounds with pink.
R1. 6 sc in MR (6)

Fold in half, insert hook through both layers and work (slst, ch2)x8 to close the wing.
Slst in the last st.
FO, leave long tail for sewing.

Working in joined rounds with lilac.
Make a MR and ch 2 (does not count as a st).
R1. 12 dc in MR. Slst to first st, ch 2 (12)
R2. dc inc x12. Slst to first st, ch 2 (24)
R3. (dc, dc inc)x12. Slst to first st, ch 2 (36)
R4. (dc, dc inc)x12. Slst to first st, ch 1 (48)
R5. sk 2, work (dc 3, ch 2, dc 3) in the next st, sk 2, sc 3, ch 50 (adjust number of sts if necessary) to form wrist strap, sc 3, sk 2, (dc 3, ch 2, dc 3) in next st, sk 2, sc 31, slst. (54 sts+ 50 chs)
FO, cut yarn. Weave tail.
Sew eyes to R3, and wings between R3 and R4.
Embroider triangular beak with yellow, and V-shaped belly feathers with aqua.

Slst to first st. FO, cut yarn. Weave tail.
back

Finishing

Put the face and back pieces together, wrist strap and closure aligned, right sides touching, wrong sides facing out.
(Tip: Tuck the wings inside, between the pieces).
Insert hook through the stitch next to the ear on the face, and on the corresponding stitch on the back, attach lilac yarn, and join with 1sc. Continue joining with sc in the next 31 sts.
FO, weave tail.
Turn finished pouch inside out.
